The congress will be held at "Villa Castagnola", located in Verbania-Pallanza (Lake Maggiore), from the afternoon of September 12 until the morning of September 15, 2007.

Language

The official languages of the congress are: English for all the main lectures and posters and a choice of English/Italian for the short communications. We urge participants to use English also for the short communications.

Fees and Hotel Accommodation

Registration fees include accommodation preferably in double room, welcome buffet, coffee breaks, lunches and social dinner. A limited number of single rooms is available in Hotel Campagnola at the prices shown below.

As of July 6, 2007, no single rooms are available.

Please contact GIDRM secretary via email for reserving a room. Hotel rooms will be assigned on first-come/first served basis. In the event of non-availability of single rooms, double rooms for single occupancy will be assigned. We will do our best (although we cannot guarantee) to accommodate you after the deadline.

Please always reserve your room BEFORE paying the fee. Reservations will be dropped if the corresponding fee is not received by the deadline.

Cancellation and Refunds

Notification of cancellation must be sent to the congress email address. By cancellation before August 15, 2007 90% of the congress fee wil be refunded. By cancellation after August 15, 2007 there will be no refund. All refunds will be processed after the congress. Refund claims must include bank address and account number for money transfer.

Grants

A limited number of Congress Attendance Grants (CAG) will be available for young scientists (under 35). Grants will include the congress fee and accommodation with full board (except for one dinner). If you want to apply for a grant please submit your abstract, your curriculum vitæ and a presentation letter from your research advisor before July 15.

Poster Contest

All posters presented by young researchers (under 35) are eligible to take part in our poster contest. The posters will be judged by a committee composed of some of the foreign colleagues attending the congress. The presenting authors of the three posters deemed the best will win a monetary price.

Abstracts

Posters and oral communication abstracts must be sent via e-mail to verbania2007@gidrm.org no later that July 15, 2007. You will be notified of the acceptance of your contribution by July 27, 2007. Please, download the abstract template (in doc or openoffice format) and follow the style therein for your abstract.

The poster size cannot exceed 100 cm of width by 140 cm of height.
