The official languages of the congress are: English for all the main lectures and posters and a choice of English/Italian for the short communications. We urge participants to use English also for the short communications.

How to Reach the Hotel

From Napoli Airport you can reach Napoli Central Railway Station with the Alibus shuttle (3 €). Please follow this link (in Italian) or the automatic English translation (by Google). There are plenty of trains from Napoli Centrale to Salerno Railway Station. Please follow this link and check the official timetable. From Salerno Station Bus #4 will take you to Vietri very close to Hotel Baia.

The participants of the National Congress on Magnetic Resonance have the possibility to take three while paying for two! If 3 people from the same institution register for the conference, only 2 registration fees will be charged. We ask participants who are going to take advantage of this possibility to include at least one young scientist in the group.

Grants

A limited number of Congress Attendance Grants (CAG) will be available for young scientists (under 35). Grants will include the congress fee and accommodation with full board. If you want to apply for a grant please submit your abstract, your curriculum vitæ and a presentation letter from your research advisor before the congress deadline.

Poster Contest

All posters presented by young researchers (under 35) are eligible to take part in our poster contest. The posters will be judged by a committee composed of some of the foreign colleagues attending the congress. The presenting authors of the three posters deemed the best will win a monetary price.

Last year's first prize winner was Oscar Cruciani from CNR, Rome (second from left in the above picture) who presented a poster entitled "Enantiodiscrimination in Phospholipid Multilamellar System".

Second prize winner was Tommaso Eliseo from the University of Roma Tor Vergata (left) for a poster about "Conformational and Dynamics Study of HPV-16 E2C Complexed to its DNA Target Sequence".

Third prize was awarded to Luca Venturi from the University of Bologna (second from right in the picture near GIDRM president Stefano Mammi) who studied "Water Binding in Chiken Breast Meat: a Joint DSC-NMR Study".

Abstracts

Postrers and oral communications abstracts must be sent via e-mail to salerno2006@gidrm.org not later that June 30, 2006. You will be notified of the acceptance of your contribution by July 15, 2006. Please, download the abstract template (in doc, openoffice or pdf format) and follow the style therein for your abstract.

Posters

The posters size cannot exceed 100 cm of width by 150 cm of height.
