Venue
The congress will be held in the wonderful site of Villa Mondragone one of the most beautifull "Villae Tuscolanae", owned by the University of Rome Tor Vergata since 1981. The congress will start with the reception party on the evening of Wednesday, August 31 and end at lunch time on Saturday, September 3.

The official languages of the congress are: English for all the main lectures and posters and a choice of English/Italian for the short communications. We urge participants to use English also for the short communications.

Buy Two, Get One Free!
The participants of the National Congress on Magnetic Resonance have the possibility to take three while paying for two! If 3 people from the same institution register for the conference, only 2 registration fees will be charged. We ask participants who are going to take advantage of this possibility to include at least one young scientist in the group.
Grants
A limited number of Congress Attendance Grants (CAG) will be available for young scientists (under 35). Grants will include the congress fee and accommodation with full board. If you want to apply for a grant please submit your abstract, your curriculum vitæ and a presentation letter from your research advisor before the congress deadline.
Poster Contest
All posters presented by young researchers (under 35) are eligible to take part in our poster contest. The posters will be judged by a committee composed of some of the foreign colleagues attending the congress. The presenting authors of the three posters deemed the best will win a monetary price.
Last year's first prize winner was Daniela Maggioni from the University of Milano (left in the above picture) who presented a poster entitled "Lewis vs. Brøensted Acidity in the System B(C6F5)3/H2O/NEt3: an NMR Study".
Second prize winner was Kirsten Severing from the University of Freiburg (Germany) for a poster about "2H-NMR Investigations on the Biaxiality of Liquid Crystalline Side-Chain Polymers".
Third prize was awarded to Luca Pinato (right in the picture) from the University of Padova who studied "Membrane Topology of α-Synuclein".
If you would like to compete, please put a label on the poster similar to the one shown above. Good luck to you all!
Abstracts
The abstracts must be sent via e-mail to roma2005@gidrm.org not later that June 30, 2005. You will be notified of the acceptance of your contribution by July 15, 2005. Please, download the abstract template (in doc, openoffice or pdf format) and follow the style therein for your abstract.
Posters
The dimensions of the posters cannot exceed 120 cm of height by 70 cm of width.
Oral Presentations
All speakers are requested to bring their presentations recorded onto CD-ROM or USB Memory Stick. We ask all speakers to save their presentation as a PPT 97-2002 presentation. If needed, we will also provide a PC with Impress (OpenOffice) for Linux.
